Halal Chicken is permissible to eat by Islamic guidelines.  Halal is an Arabic word that means "permissible." In terms of food, it means food that is permissible according to Islamic law.  Some of the criteria that make Halal Chicken are the humane treatment of the animal, proper handling and mercy slaughtering.  What makes chicken Halal, is slaughtering without it suffering; blood should be completely drained from the chicken because it carries toxins, germs and bacteria when left inside the body.
